Symptoms
When trying to upgrade a Content Studio installation or add a new site the database part of the installation fails with the error
Cannot open database requested in login 'Databasename'. Login fails. (-2147467259).
Cause
The database installation module of the Content Studio installation program cannot handle corrupt databases or databases that are marked as OFF-LINE or databases that are marked as SINGLE-USE and another user holds an open connection to this database.
Resolution
Repair or delete all corrupt databases.
Make all OFF-LINE databases ON-LINE.
Make sure all users closes their connections to any SINGLE-USE database.
Status
This is a bug in the installation program of Content Studio version 3.2 and has been fixed in later versions.
